Myron George Muth

Myron George Muth, lovingly known as “My Guy My,” passed away on June 11, 2026, at the age of 84 in St. Paul, Minnesota.

He was born on July 16, 1941, in St. Paul, Minnesota. Myron built a life grounded in faith, family, and humor. He dedicated 33 years to 3M, where he worked as a manager before retiring. In retirement, he spent another 25 years providing security at many of his favorite sporting events.

Myron is survived by his wife, Shelly; his children, Tom Muth, Karen Tate (Francis), and Mark Muth (Joy); his nine grandchildren, Jorden, Brooklyn, Even, Emma, Marshall, Parker, Sophie, Brandon, and Benjamin; and his two great-grandchildren, Barrett and Adeline. He is also survived by his sister, Kathy Andrews (Mark); his brother, Mike Muth (Mary Jo); and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, Max and Helen Muth.

He will be remembered for his love of sports and movies, his enjoyment of playing cards and cooking, and his gift for sharing stories from his life.

He passed peacefully, surrounded by family, listening to his favorite songs.

A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Ambrose Church in Woodbury at 11:00 a.m. on June 24th.Visitation will be held at the church beginning at 9:30 a.m. 

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Our Lady of Peace Hospice in St. Paul, MN.
