Clara M. Moore of Sutter, age 94, died on June 23, 2014. She died peacefully during a brief stay in Yuba City. She is the beloved mother of Cathy Marsh, Betty Moody, and Ken Moore. She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Kenneth Moore and her son Thomas. Clara Rusch began her life in Vincennes, IN on May 3, 1920. After graduating from St. Anthony's Nurses Training, Louisville, KY in 1942, she joined the U.S. Navy as an officer. She met her future husband, Ken, while they were both stationed at the U.S. Naval Hospital in Corona, CA in 1948. They moved to Sutter County in 1985; they formally lived in Anaheim and Riverside. A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Isidore Church, Yuba City on July 7, 2014 at 10:00 am. Graveside service to be held at the Sutter Cemetery at 11:30 am in Veteran's section
