Edgar A. Winfree

Edgar "Ed" A. Winfree, 73, passed away on May 7, 2025, at his home in Yuba City, CA.

He was born on August 2, 1951, in Norfolk, NE, the son of Edgar F. Winfree, and Ava May Pulley.

Ed attended Yuba City High School, class of 1969. Following high school, Ed entered the U. S. Army.

After he left the Army he married his high school sweetheart, Glenda Halfhill, and they settled in Yuba City, CA, and had three beautiful daughters.

Ed was preceded in death by his father; brother, Forrest Monroe "Monty" Winfree; sister, Vivian Gwin; and daughters, Michelle Clark, and Mattie Toledo.

Surviving in addition to his daughter, Kasey Stillwell, of Live Oak, CA; is his mother, Ava May Pulley; sisters, Debra Simon, of Sparks, NV, and Judith Wolfe, of Medford, OR; eight grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.

A ceremony to honor Ed will be scheduled at a later date.
