Jd Jackson

JD Jackson, 78, of Yuba City, CA, passed away on September 26, 2017. He was born in 1939, in Alpaugh, CA, and was a resident of the Yuba-Sutter area for 53 years. He worked as a Driver/Salesman. Survivors include his best friend and wife of 57 years, whom he adored and spoiled. He also left behind four children and their spouses, Tammy Stone, Trina and Doug Hammons, Michael and Jill Jackson, Russ Jackson; 14 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren, whose memories of their "Gramps" will be forever etched on their hearts. JD made friends with everyone and impacted the lives of all who came in contact with him. He was the epitome of illustrating a Godly life, and leading others by example to do the same. He was quick to serve others and did so with joy, no matter the task before him. He was loved greatly and will be missed immensely by all who were honored to have him in their lives. "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith." 2 Timothy 4:7 A Celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, September 30, 2017, at 10:00 a.m., at Crossroads Community Church, 445 B Street, Yuba City.
