Kenneth Darrell Couch

Kenneth Darrell Couch, 67, of Yuba City passed away December 30, 2018. He was born June 16, 1951, to Raymond and Genevieve Couch. Ken was a longtime Yuba-Sutter resident, retired after 42 years from the Carpenters Union Local 46. He was a very strong man and dedicated to work and family. He was strong willed and vocal about his personal opinions. He had a sarcastic sense of humor we will greatly miss. Ken enjoyed camping, hunting and trout fishing at this favorite place Black Rock in Tehama County. He loved going to the casino and playing DaVinci Diamonds and Four Card Keno. He also enjoyed the Chico Speedway Races and every Sunday you would find him at the Simpson Lane Flea Market with all his buddies shootin' the breeze. He was most definitely a jack of all trades and the only idle time he had was spent watching the news or sports, especially his Rams and Dodgers. He is survived by his wife, Stephanie Marler-Couch of Yuba City, CA; daughter, Lindsay Couch of Yuba City, CA; sons, Shane Couch of Roseville, CA and Eric Kaufman of Yuba City, CA; mother, Genevieve Couch of Vacaville, CA; brothers, John Duane Deck of Pismo Beach, CA; and Dennis Couch of Grass Valley, CA; several stepchildren and grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his father, Raymond Woodrow Couch; sisters, Laverne, Barbara Gene, Verna Mae, and Joanne; brothers, Raymond Dale, Donald Ray and Danny Lee. Visitation is scheduled for Friday, January 11, 2019, beginning at 12:30 pm, followed by services at 1:30 pm, at Ullrey Memorial Chapel with Pastor Jim Anderson, officiating. Inurnment will be private. Arrangements are under the direction of Ullrey Memorial Chapel. Dress is casual. Ken will be deeply missed by all his family and friends. He has left us with many cherished memories.
