Richard "Rick" Aldrich

December 5, 1952 - October 27, 2016 Rick was born in Whidbey Island, WA. He and his family moved to Santa Maria, CA in 1960, where he lived until moving to Marysville, CA in 1989. He worked for an aerospace contractor at Vandenberg Air Force Base in Logistics/Material, where he met co-worker Carol Anne Priddy, and they were married in 1981. He later became a long-distance truck driver until he retired in 2015. Rick was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Marysville for 22 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edwin Guy and Naomi (Park) Aldrich. He is survived by wife Carol Priddy Aldrich, daughter Hannah Aldrich Pharr (Eric), grandchildren Isis Rose, Jimmy, and Billy Aldrich Pharr of Live Oak, CA, and son Robert Aldrich (Erin O'Hara) of Roseville, CA. He is also survived by brother Ron (Julie) Aldrich of Jacksonville, FL, nephew Matt (Valerie) Aldrich and children Dalton, Logan, Savannah of St. Peters, MO, and niece Becky (Paul) Hansen and daughter Angelina of Desert Hot Springs, CA. A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 18, 2016 at 11:00 am at the First United Methodist Church, 730 D St., Marysville, CA 95901.
