Robert Benjamin Gonsalves Jr.

We are heartbroken to announce the unexpected passing of Robert "Bob" Benjamin Gonsalves Jr., in April at the age of 64.

Bob grew up in Yuba City, CA, and graduated from Yuba City High School, where he played football, basketball, and baseball.

He attended American River College, and studied general contracting and later obtained his contractors license.

He loved being outdoors, and working in construction and landscaping was a perfect fit for his career in California and Texas.

He had a kind heart, big smile, and greeted you with a big hug. Bob loved his family, friends, and sports.

He leaves behind his stepmother, Marilyn Gonsalves; sister, Sherri (Michael); brother, Ron; son, Jeremy; daughter, Candice; son, Robert; grandchildren; nephews; and a niece.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Rosemary Gonsalves; and brother, Gary Gonsalves.

Losing such a special man is hard. Bob's warmth and love for those around him will never be forgotten. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Cool Hand Luke's from 12 PM to 3 PM August 2, 2025.
