Seth R Johnson

Seth Richmond Johnson, 49, of Olivehurst, CA, passed away March 8, 2025, after being involved in a motor vehicle accident. 

Seth was born October 30, 1975, to Christopher Ayers Johnson, and Martha Ann Johnson, at the Naval base hospital in Lemoore, CA. 

He was a graduate of the Lindhurst High School class of 1994, and attended Yuba College where he studied Culinary Arts, completing the Food Service Management program. 

He also graduated from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints institute of religion in 1998.

Upon completing his education, he moved to Tacoma, WA, where he worked at the Brown & Haley factory manufacturing Almond Roca.

He also lived in Pasco, WA, for a year assisting his grandfather, David Hunt, before returning to the Yuba Sutter area in 2002, where he devoted the remainder of his time to caring for his elderly father.

He was an active volunteer in the community, often donating his time to local food banks, and will be remembered by the community as a kind man, who was generous with his time.

Seth was a lifelong member of the LDS church, of which he was an Elder at the time of his passing.

He is survived by two brothers, Peter Johnson, and Jedediah Johnson; as well as two sisters, Jennifer Johnson-Hite, and Patricia Johnson.

Funeral services will be held Saturday April 12, 2025, at 2 PM, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 5091 Wheatland Rd. Wheatland, CA, 95692.
