Terri Latronica
July 21, 1957 — April 22, 2014
It is with a heavy heart that we must announce to you that the lovely Terri Latronica passed away Tuesday April 22, 2014 at 11:30 am. She fought valiantly to the end, but left peacefully on her own terms. Terri was born in Montebello, California on July 21, 1957. She was raised in Pico Rivera and graduated from El Rancho High School. She moved from Southern California to Sutter County in 1992 and worked in Credit and Collections at Fremont Rideout Hospital for 17 years. She loved her work because she truly enjoyed helping others through tough times. Terri was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend. She will be deeply missed by her husband of 31 years Patrick Latronica, her daughters Amber Latronica and Kailee Latronica, her granddaughter Izabella Mae Galvez, her father Richard Cole, her brother Rick Cole, her much loved extended family, and her many friends who were like family. Terri was preceded in death by her mother, Donna Blake, her stepmother, Jacque Cole, and her father in law, Raymond Latronica. Terri was and is one of God's great gifts to all who met her. To meet her was to know her. She would become your friend and confidant instantly. She is a natural beauty with a smile that could light up a room and a sense of humor that could make anyone laugh. Her laugh alone could lift your spirits. Wherever she went she commanded attention without seeking it. She was a tall drink of water commonly describe as having legs up to her neck. Her sense of fashion was impeccable and she was always ahead of the curve, no matter the time or the place she looked good. She was extremely photogenic and was a pioneer of the selfie, she was taking those back in the day before the word became popular. She loved to decorate and we had many guests in our home tell her that her living room could be in a magazine. She had excellent taste and was quite skilled in crafts. Terri is the strongest woman many have ever known and by being around her she makes others stronger. Her counsel was sought by women and men alike. So many people stayed in contact with Terri over the years it is truly amazing. Many have said no matter how long it had been since their last conversation, it felt as though no time had passed. One of the things that came most naturally to Terri was being a mother. Her nurturing qualities were so valued that many of her daughters' friends saw her as a second mom and she cared for them like her own daughters. She was also a genuine friend who would mentor, care, help, guide, and love you instantly. She helped so many through hard times. Over the past 4 years, Terri was devoted to the light of her life, Izabella. Oh my goodness, how she loved Izabella. The bond they shared was easy to see and will be everlasting. She will always be Izabella's angel first and foremost. There will be a locally held celebration of Terri's life on Sunday April 27, 2014 at the Teegarden House at 731 Plumas Street, Yuba City, CA. We love you,Terri Latronica. Previous Events
