Clifford Eugene Hamblen

Mar 14, 1959 — Apr 19, 2026

Clifford Eugene Hamblen of Fort Collins, Co went to be with his Lord and Savior on April 19, 2026 at home surrounded by family and friends. Cliff was born on March 14, 1959 in Tucson, AZ to Sam and Donna Hamblen.  Throughout his life, Cliff worked alongside his father building houses around northern Colorado. In 1980, he met his wife, Carol (Saracino) Hamblen, and married on May 2, 1981. In 1982, they started their family with the birth of Travis Hamblen then, Katie Annan, and Rex Hamblen, and in 2001 Jacob Saracino joined the family. In 1986, life changed for Clifford when he bought his first gun safe and founded Hamblen Sales, selling and delivering gun safes. Eventually, Hamblen Sales became Hamblen Sales and Gun Shop on East Mulberry in Fort Collins for 10 years. After selling the gun shop, Rex joined Cliff in the family business and continued selling and delivering gun safes together. In addition to the gun safe sales business, Cliff and Carol assisted son Travis with his business, Hamblen Hats, and daughter Katie with her career as a counselor. Cliff had several hobbies over his life including shooting guns, going to gun shows, riding motorcycles, and collecting (several different things), but his favorite pastime was spending time with his family and friends, but most of all, his family. He loved to go with family on vacations anywhere as long as they were together. He was very proud of his family, and his personal relationship with God. He was a devout Christain who shared his faith with both believers and non-believers alike.

Cliff is survived by his wife Carol Hamblen and children, Travis Hamblen (sons Braxton and Kasen Hamblen); Katie Annan (husband Nick Annan and sons Riley and Logan Becker); Rex Hamblen (wife Sarah Hamblen and children, Zephyr Hamblen and Zoey Hamblen); Jacob Saracino (wife Korie and children, Leo and Millie Saracino); his brother Sammy (wife Janett Hamblen and family); and numerous brothers-in-laws, sister-in-laws, nieces

and nephews, as well as many family friends. He is preceded in death by his parents Sam and Donna Hamblen, his step mother Myrtle Bailey-Hamblen, and his grandson Otto Hamblen.
