Roy "Griff" Griffin

Roy "Griff" Griffin, 82, passed away peacefully on May 14, 2026.

Griff was born January 17, 1944 in Creston, IA. He moved to Colorado in 1961. Griff began his career in the Heating & Air Conditioning industry in Longmont in 1966.

He relocated to Fort Collins in 1975. Griff owned and operated Northern Colorado, Air, Inc., from March 1992 - December 2024; when the business was sold.

Griff was a sports enthusiast, who especially enjoyed Horse Racing, NASCAR and Golf. He loved to travel and always felt blessed by the many places around the world he was able to visit. What Griff loved most, was spending time with his family and friends.

Griff is survived by his two daughters, Diane (Mark) and Nadine (Rodney), four grandchildren, five great grandchildren, two sisters and a brother.

He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, a brother, sister and grandson.

The family gives a special thanks to Lauren, RN and the staff at Canyon HomeCare & Hospice.

A Celebration of Life for Griff will be held Sunday, July 5, 2026. This Open House will be from 2:00-4:00pm at Pelican Lakes Golf Club, 1620 Pelican Lakes Pt., Windsor,CO.
