Constance Marie Rogers
Jul 5, 1933 — Jul 4, 2026
Constance Marie Rogers, 92, passed away peacefully on July 4, 2026, one day before her 93rd birthday.
Born on July 5, 1933, in Waltham, Massachusetts, Constance was the daughter of Edelard Desmarias and Margarite Deion, who were of French-Canadian descent. She was raised with a strong appreciation for family, heritage, and the values of love, compassion, and perseverance. She was preceded in death by her brother, Bernard Desmarias, and her sister, Isabelle Chasse.
Constance lived a long and meaningful life defined by love, kindness, resilience, and unwavering devotion to her family. She was a woman of great strength, compassion, and a generous heart whose warmth touched everyone she met.
Constance was the beloved wife of Frank J. Rogers, who preceded her in death in 2005. During Frank's service in the United States Air Force, the couple spent five memorable years stationed in France. There, Constance embraced the French culture and often served as a translator for American servicemen who did not speak French. She treasured those years abroad and carried a lifelong appreciation for the people, language, and culture she experienced.
Following their return to the United States, Frank and Constance were stationed at Hill Air Force Base in Ogden, Utah. They eventually purchased a home off base where they built a life centered on faith, family and friendship for the next 55 years.
Together, Frank and Connie discovered a love of RV travel, spending many happy years exploring the country and making memories together. That shared passion for the open road became one of the great joys of their marriage.
An active and adventurous woman, Connie embraced the outdoors. While living in Utah, she taught cross-country skiing and introduced others to the beauty of winter in the Wasatch Mountains.
After Frank's passing in 2005, Constance continued the adventures they had begun together. She took to the open road in her RV, traveling throughout the western United States and staying in military campgrounds along the way. For 21 years, she served as the seasonal camp host at Salt Creek Campground in Washington State. There she welcomed visitors with a warm smile and generous spirit, forming lifelong friendships with countless campers, many of whom returned year after year just to visit with her.
Constance had a deep love for nature and especially enjoyed bird watching. In her later years, some of her happiest moments were spent walking with her son David to "Golden Pond," where together they watched blue herons, pelicans, and bald eagles. She found great peace and joy in the beauty of the natural world.
She is survived by her sons Buck Rogers and his wife, Joni Mclaws; David Rogers and his wife, Zoe Thomas; Thomas Rogers; and John Rogers, who preceded her in death.
Grandchildren Ian Rogers, Brandy Mclaws and husband Sean Donovan, Aaron Rogers and wife Jolene Ontiveros, Rebecca Rogers, Christopher Rogers. She was preceded in death by her grandson, William Rogers, in 2024.
She also leaves behind her great-grandchildren Kyler Patterson, Mya Sunshine Rogers, Isaac Rogers, Alayna Rogers, Charlee Rogers, Treycen Rogers, Ty Donovan, Bryce Donovan, Ashlynn Donovan and her cherished great-great-granddaughter, Lainey Laurraine Patterson.
Constance will be remembered for her gentle spirit, kind heart, adventurous nature, and unconditional love for her family. Whether she was raising her family, translating in France, teaching cross-country skiing, traveling the country with Frank, welcoming visitors at the campground, or quietly watching birds at Golden Pond, she embraced life fully and made those around her feel loved.
She leaves behind a family who will forever cherish her memory and carry forward her legacy of love, faith, kindness, and resilience. Though her earthly journey has ended, the love she shared and the example she set will continue to inspire generations to come.
A celebration and mass of Constance's life will be held at St. John catholic church in Loveland Colorado on July 22nd at 11:00 am. Family and friends are invited to gather to honor her memory, share stories, and celebrate the extraordinary life she lived.
"A life well lived leaves a legacy of love." Constance's memory will forever remain in the hearts of her family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to know her.
