Joey Walter James Stewart
March 12, 1990 — August 24, 2025
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Joey Stewart, 35, from Loveland, CO. A cherished Son, Father, Brother, Uncle, and Friend. Born on March 12, 1990, in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, Joey brought joy and laughter to those around him throughout his life. Joey, a father of 3 daughters whom he loved dearly, was also the only male out of 4 siblings.
Joey had a deep love for the outdoors and found peace and happiness in nature. Whether casting a line into a river or hiking through the mountains with his beloved dogs, Big Mac and Gemma, the outdoors was his happy place and a defining part of who he was.
Joey is survived by his grandmother Daina, Father Joseph, his grandmother Shirley, and Mother Sabra. His daughters Rosalynn, Mars, and Avery. Two dogs Big Mac and Gemma. His sisters Audrey, April, Amy, and Codi (Jesse). Nieces and nephews Damian, Angelina, Brooklyn, Dalton, Jesiah, Ava, Layla, Melody, Liliana, and Cruzito. Numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Those who knew Joey will remember his unforgettable laughter—a sound that made you laugh harder than the joke was. He had a playful spirit and a gift for storytelling, often sharing funny jokes and teasing his children, nieces, and nephews in the most loving way. His humor was never far from kindness; it was how he expressed affection and brought people together.
Joey’s vibrant personality left an unforgettable mark on everyone fortunate enough to know him. His legacy lives on through cherished memories—moments filled with laughter, warmth, and the unmistakable energy he brought into every space he entered.
May his memory bring comfort to all who knew and loved him.
