Margaret Jill Or Nana Crescibene
August 27, 1942 — April 15, 2026
Margaret (Jill/Nana) Crescibene, age 83, passed away peacefully on April 15, 2026, in Loveland, CO surrounded by her family. Jill was the heart of her family. She showed endless love to her husband, children, and most of all her 7 grandchildren who were the light of her life. She created a legacy that will last forever.
Born on August 27,1942 in Gary, Indiana. Jill was the daughter of Joe and Mary Lewis and was one of 8 children in her family. She spent her life devoted to her children, grandchildren, her work, and the people she loved most. Jill was married to her loving husband, John for 62 years. John and Jill met in 1962 and married in 1964. In 1973, they packed up their 3 children and moved across the country to build a new life in Colorado.
Jill was best known for her kindness, laughter, strength, and generosity. She spent endless hours helping to raise her 7 grandchildren, attending their sporting events, and making sure every holiday was a beautiful celebration. Christmas and Easter were the highlights, and the grandkids all knew that Nana was behind it all. The highlight of Christmas was watching Nana open her gift from Papa and waiting to see her reaction – he was successful 3 years.
Jill and John were lifetime campers and they loved to spend their most recent winters camping in Rockport, TX where they had several friends who they met up with each year. Jill was an amazing cook and feeding those she loved was her love language. She also loved her flower gardens and interior design.
She is survived by her husband John Crescibene; children Tom Crescibene, Susan Bott, and Lynne Hernandez; grandchildren Sarah Bott, Brittany Crescibene, Bryan (Kaylie) Bott, Dylan Crescibene, Tyler Weese, Tristan Hernandez, Riley Crescibene; and many, many long-time close friends who adored her.
The family will hold a private celebration of life. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, an organization close to Jill’s heart.
Above all, Nana will be remembered for her love, her resilience, and the way she showed up for those who needed her. She will be deeply missed and forever loved. We promise to keep your legacy alive, Nana.
