Ronald Lee Falk

Ronald Lee Falk (71) of St. Paul, MN passed away unexpectedly on March 13, 2025. Born February 9, 1954 in Bloomington, MN, Ron was the youngest of 5 children to Cecilia and Francis Falk. He is preceded in death by his soulmate Nan Straus, who he eloped with and married on August 12, 1985 at the Silver Bell Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas. They had 2 children, Leslie (Duncan) MacLachlan and Aaron Falk. Ron was a begrudgingly diehard Minnesota Twins fan, an avid fantasy football player, and a relentless cheerleader for his children in all of their sports and life endeavors. Ron, Nan and Aaron moved to Long Beach, CA in 2007 to fulfill Nan’s wish of living close to her parents. During retirement, Ron and Nan fueled their sense of adventure through concerts, camping and exploring the West Coast with their dogs Jack and Panda. After Nan’s passing in 2022, Ron moved back to St. Paul to be closer to his daughter Leslie. Over the last few years he reconnected with his sisters Nancy and Sharon, and his wonderful friends from his high school and college years. Ron welcomed his grandson Rory in December of 2022, and he was the apple of his eye. A revived hippie, Ron loved driving his vintage Volkswagen bus and beetle, listening to live music, and was a member of the Minnesota Blues Society. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends and loyal dogs, but he is now at peace, reunited with his soulmate.The visitation and service will be held on Tuesday, March 25 at Willwerscheid Funeral Home 1167 Grand Ave. St. Paul starting at 10:00am, with funeral at 11:00am.
