Bobby Gail Bishop

A memorial service for Bobby Gail Bishop, 77, of Columbia, will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, January 10, 2015 at Virginia Wingard Memorial United Methodist Church, 1500 Broad River Road, Columbia, SC 29210. Reverend Scott W. Smoak will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Mrs. Bishop died January 3, 2015. Born in Lee County, SC, she was the daughter of the late Robert Marion and Bertha Hall Cross. Gail was a loving mother and grandmother. She was a strong-willed woman who could accomplish any task she set her mind to. Gail was a member of Virginia Wingard Memorial United Methodist Church. She is survived by her sons, James Marion Bickley of Columbia, Daniel Roy Bickley (Sharon) of Chapin and 4 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Donald Bickley and two sons, Thomas Wallace Bickley and Charles Vernon Bickley. The family would like to thank the staff of Unihealth in Columbia for their attentive care. The family requests no flowers be sent, please.
