Steve A. Headen

Steve Alvin Headen, 64, of Lexington, passed away peacefully on May 6, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family.

Born on December 20, 1961, Steve was a kindhearted and simple man whose generosity touched everyone who knew him. He would give anything he had to help someone in need and was known for his gentle spirit and caring heart.

Steve found joy in the simple things in life. He loved planting flowers and working outdoors, and he had a deep appreciation for nature, especially the mountains and wildlife. He also enjoyed music, particularly songs by Elvis Presley and Alabama. Above all else, Steve loved his family and treasured the time he spent with them.

He is survived by his children, Maria Newell, Stephen Headen, and Colleen Fisher; his brothers and sisters, Ben, Kay, Tony, Linda, and Sherry; and his five grandchildren, with one more on the way.

Steve will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.

The family will hold a celebration of life at a later date.
