Howard Diamond, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend, passed away on June 10, 2025, at the age of 78 in Mesa, Arizona. Born on November 1, 1946, in the Bronx, New York, Howard lived a rich and fulfilling life dedicated to his family and his faith.

Howard's journey began with his education at Morris High School in the Bronx, followed by his training at Cosmetology School. His passion for hairdressing became a lifelong career, licensed hairdresser in Arizona, New York, Georgia, and California, spanning over 60 years. With each snip of the scissors, he not only transformed hairstyles but also touched the lives of his clients with his kindness and warmth.

In addition to his impressive career in hairdressing, Howard dedicated 35 years to serving as a pastor. His commitment to his faith was unwavering, and he was known as a man who brought hundreds of people closer to God, embodying the role of a father to the fatherless. His incredible ability to connect with others and share the message of Jesus was a hallmark of his life, and his gentle spirit inspired many in their spiritual journeys.

Howard was a man of many interests. He found joy in singing, sharing his Jewish roots, and spending time with his family. He had an infectious sense of humor, often delighting those around him with dad jokes that brought laughter to even the most challenging days. He was generous and kind, embodying the traits that made him such a cherished figure in his community.

He is survived by his loving wife, René Diamond; his daughter, Randi Jones; his son-in-law, Justin Jones; his grandchildren, David, Berenice, Jonathan, Sierra, Jessika; his great grandchildren, Isabella, Callen, Ryland, and Indika. His family was his pride and joy, and he cherished every moment spent with them.

A memorial service will be held to honor Howard's remarkable life on June 29, 2025, at 3:00 PM at Life Community Church, located at 717 W Ray Rd, Gilbert, AZ 85233. Family and friends are invited to come together to celebrate the life of a man who loved deeply and whose legacy of faith and love will continue to inspire all who knew him.
