Funeral Homes in the Las Vegas, Nevada Metro Area

The Las Vegas, Nevada metropolitan area is served by two locations offering end-of-life services to families across the region. Coverage extends across Las Vegas, Henderson, North Las Vegas, Spring Valley, and surrounding communities. Services available across the market include burial services, cremation services, funeral and memorial services, and pre-need planning. Human composting and aquamation are available through licensed partner providers at both locations.

• Kraft-Sussman Funeral & Cremation Services is a funeral home in the Spring Valley area of Las Vegas, founded in 2009 by Wendy Kraft and Laura Sussman. The facility includes a chapel with movable seating rather than fixed pews, a reception area, private viewing rooms, and dedicated identification viewing spaces. In 2019, Kraft-Sussman became the first funeral home in Nevada to offer aquamation, an alkaline hydrolysis alternative to traditional flame cremation.

• Vegas Valley Cremation is a cremation service in Las Vegas, established in 2010, operating as an arrangement center focused on cremation services and pre-need planning. Cremations are performed at a company-owned crematory in North Las Vegas, with care provided by employed staff rather than transferred to an independent third-party provider.

Families selecting between these locations will typically consider facility type, service scope, and on-site capabilities. Kraft-Sussman functions as a full-service funeral home with chapel-based service options, while Vegas Valley Cremation is an arrangement-focused cremation service that coordinates cremation through a company-owned facility in a separate location. Families whose needs center on cremation without a formal service space may find the latter sufficient; those requiring burial, graveside services, or on-site ceremonial facilities will find those available at Kraft-Sussman.
