The brand was founded in 1986 in Denver by Tom and Diane Kamm, established specifically as a cremation-focused provider offering a narrower set of services than a full-service funeral home. A second generation of the founding family, Alistair ("Al") and Tommie Kamm, purchased the business in 2014. The brand expanded within the Denver area beginning in 2004 and entered the Colorado Springs market in 2014. All-States Cremation locations are licensed funeral homes in Colorado, operating primarily as arrangement storefronts. Each All-States Cremation location serves families in its own community, and families arranging services work directly with the staff at the location they choose. Facilities and available services vary from one location to another. Across all locations, All-States Cremation provides cremation services, pre-need planning, ash scattering assistance, and human composting through a partner provider. None of the locations operates an on-site crematory or cemetery; cremations are performed at the brand's Denver crematory.
