Proudly Serving Caldwell Since 1952

We have proudly served the Caldwell community since Flahiff Funeral Chapel was built in 1952 by Charles and Lucy Flahiff. Today, we continue their mission of providing the finest quality services to all families of the Treasure Valley.


Many changes have taken place over the years, including the addition of the Homedale Chapel in 1964. In 1984, Flahiff Chapels expanded its facility with the addition of Canyon and Owyhee County’s first crematory.


At Flahiff Funeral Chapels & Crematory, we have provided customizable memorial services for many years, allowing you to honor your loved ones in a way that is both meaningful and healing.


Traditional services are available for all religious preferences and churches and nondenominational services tailored to each family's requests. We also work with all Caldwell area cemeteries. We offer assistance for Spanish speakers and serve all families and budgets.

  • Removal and transportation of your loved one to the funeral home (within a 50 mile radius of the funeral home).
  • Care of your loved one until cremation is complete.
  • Cremation process and return of ashes in minimum urn.

Flahiff was a great experience and a relief once our mother passed. She was out of state when she passed and Flahiff was very responsive and came to transport her within 24 hrs of contacting them and it was a 12hr drive roundtrip. They helped us put together the last minute details without question and were a big help in the short amount of time and quick turnaround that they had to help us with her funeral arrangements. We have had multiple family members use their service throughout the years and would be happy to reccomend them to anyone in the future!

They were extremely kind. Went out of the way to make sure everything was just right. They also had a huge amount of patience. I have brain damage and they were diligent in making sure they understood my needs as well as me understanding what going on. Under the circumstances it was a pleasant experience.
