Alice Minnie Janssen
April 5th, 1928 - January 19th, 2017
Alice Minnie Janssen, 88, of Greeley passed away Thursday, January 19, 2017 at Bonell Good Samaritan Community. She was born April 5, 1928 in Nuckolls County, NE to Frank and Louise (Schermeyer) Meyer. She married Leonard Lavern Janssen on August 28, 1955 in Superior, NE. She worked as an administrative assistant for the City and County of Denver before retiring and moving to Greeley in 1998. Alice was a member of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church. Survivors include her son; Paul Janssen of Sandy Springs, GA and granddaughter; Amber Pottorff of Landera Ranch, CA. She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, husband, and daughter Marcia Pottorff. Viewing will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, January 27, 2016 at the Elsa Borgmann Bonell Chapel, 708 22nd Street, Greeley followed by service at 2 p.m. Friends may leave condolences at adamsoncares.com.
