Amparo Padilla Hernandez
November 6th, 1930 - August 9th, 2017
Amparo Padilla Hernandez entered into rest Aug. 9, 2017, in Chico, CA. She was born in Guadalajara, Mexico on Nov. 11, 1930. She was one of 13 children born to Ignacio and Refugio Padilla. She was the mother of six children, preceded in death by her son, Gilbert Hernandez, and leaves behind five children: Alicia Negus of Durham, CA., Roseanna Brown of Vallejo, CA., Alex Hernandez of San Francisco, CA, Cynthia Juarez of Brentwood, CA Michelle Rodrigues of Chico, Ca; as well as 17 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and a vast number of nieces and nephews, and a great many friends who’s lives she touched. Amparo had a love of life including gardening, dancing, travelling and cooking. A Catholic funeral mass will be held for Amparo at 10:30am, August 25, 2017, at St. Roberts Church in San Bruno, CA.
