Art Glover, 87, of Greeley, passed away Wednesday April 10, 2019 in Greeley, Co. Art was born September 25, 1931 in Holly, CO to Alva and Viva (Brown) Glover. Art grew up and went to school in the Kersey area. On April 14, 1951 he married the love of his life Goldie Dieterle in Greeley, CO. They were married for 67 years. Art worked heavy construction with his pride and joy building the Pactola Dam in South Dakota from start to finish. He built and remodeled dairy barns with his sons and at the time of his retirement in 1995 he was a full-time farmer with his son. Art is survived by his wife Goldie, two daughters; Sharon (Tom) Dalton and Barb (Bill) VanEvery; Five sons: Terry, Tim (Sharon), Mike (Tammy), Ron (Kori), and Scott; 20 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren. Two brothers Delbert (Bonnie) and Lavern (Athlyn) Glover and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Eirls, Bud and Melvin. Services will be Friday April 19, 2019 at the Faith Bible Baptist Church 320 35th Ave, Greeley, CO.
