Charlotte E. Hunt Hovde, 85 of Cloquet, passed peacefully on Monday, September 21, 2009 at St. Luke's Hospital in Duluth. Charlotte was born on April 4, 1924 in Burnett County, WI to Ernest and Marie Hunt. She married Martin Hovde on June 21, 1947 in Walker, MN. Charlotte was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Cloquet. Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Leslie and David; and sisters, Jeanette and Lucille. She is survived by her loving husband, Martin; children, Shirley (Stan) Olsen, Sharon (John) Hendricks, Denny (Anne) Hovde, Charlene (Martimo) Love, Donald (Kathy) Hovde, David Hovde, and Crystal (Gary) Youngs; brothers, Sheldon, Gordon, and Marvin; sisters, Ernestine and Geraldine; 15 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral Services were held on Saturday, September 26, 2009 in St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 1705 Wilson Ave., Cloquet. Burial was in Pine Grove Cemetery in Palisade, MN.
