Clara Otero Flores
November 1st, 1915 - December 12th, 2013
Clara Otero Flores died on December 12, 2013, the Virgen of Guadalupe Vigil, at her home, surrounded by her loved ones. Married 72 years to William A. Flores, Jr. (deceased 3/13/10). Her son Bill and grandson Chris, also deceased. She is from the pioneer Sabino Otero Family, her parents Manuel and Angelita Otero. She was the last living member of her immediate Otero family. She was named after her great aunt, Sr. Clara Otero, installed in the AZ Women's Historical Museum. Her brother Fernando, and sisters, Petra, Concepcion, Angelia, Carlotta, all deceased. She is survived by her daughters, Carmen (William) Navarro, Connie (Eugene) Catalano, Clara F. Bjornson, Cathy F. Carrillo. Also survived by grandchildren: Navarros: Steve (Cheryl), Julie (Stu), Robert (Liz), Joe (Amy); Catalanos: Celina (Paul), Gerard (Alicia), Brian, Eric (Jennifer); Bjornsons: Carey, Craig (Lesley); Carrillos: Stephanie, Emily. Also great-grandchildren: Navarros: Will, Alexis, Nicholas, Mateo, Isabella; Catalanos: Gina (Tom), Kyle (Megan), Trevor, Anise, Sara; Bjornsons: Diane (Andrew), Deborah, Chris, Jr., Elijah, Ezra. A great-great granddaughter: Catalanos: Olivia. She is also survived by a loving family of many nieces and nephews. Con carino a Lupita y Imelda por todo su ayuda y con tanto carino y amor que cuidaron a Mama y Papa, son angeles de amor. We appreciate St. Mary's Carondelet Home Hospice staff for their care and constant concern. We bless them all. Mom was a special prayerful-prayer filled lady that always gave us her blessings and prayers. This life will never be the same without our Mom, Nana, Tia, Amiga, but we each will always have wonderful memories to hold in our hearts to help us continue our journey, until we are all together in our forever life. God Bless You, we love you dearly. Services on 12/18/13: Rosary at 9:30 am at Bring Chapel on Scott; Funeral Mass at 10:30 am at St. Augustin Cathedral.
