February 4th, 1958 - April 10th, 2014
"David M. Defoe, 56, passed away on April 10, 2014, in Baystate Medical Center. He was born February 4, 1958 in Palmer, son of the late William and Lydia (Shamy) Defoe. David was raised in Monson and graduated from Monson High School. David was a resident at Redstone Rehabilitation in E. Longmeadow for many years. He is survived by a brother, Richard Defoe and wife Kim of Monson and a sister, Carol Killoran and husband John of Stafford Springs, CT. David also leaves many beloved nieces, nephews, & cousins. Family and friends may gather at the funeral home Wed., April 16th at 9:45 a.m. to follow to a Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. at St. Patrick's Church in Monson. Burial will follow in Bethany cemetery. Calling hours are Tuesday from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at the Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to St. Edward School, Stafford CT."
