David Wayne Jetton, age 78, of Glenns Ferry passed away at a local hospital on Monday, October 11, 2021. Cremation is under the care of Rost Funeral home, McMurtrey Chapel. David (Dave as he was known by most everyone) was born to Clifton D. Jetton and Rosemary LeGere in Lexington, Kentucky. He was a kind, sweet, funny character who never knew a stranger. David served his country as a drill sergeant in the U.S. Army. Later he spent 50 years driving Truck, he loved the open road. He loved his family with all of his heart as well as his friends and four dogs. David is survived by his wife Dorothea B. Jetton, sister Dawn Byrd and spouse Ed, brother Jeffery Levin, son David Wayne Jetton, daughter Michelle Shad and spouse Tahir, daughter Barbara Barnard and spouse Brad, Sharlet Wilson and spouse Jeffrey, Larry Hagan, Robby Hagan and spouse Tara, 9 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. David is preceded in death by Rosemary (South) LeGere, father Clifton Jetton, step-mother Dawn Elaine Jetton, brother-in-law Raymond Binion and cousin Dennis Jetton.

Jerry’s career began more than fifty years ago in Boise, and along the way, he acquired an 1897 horse-drawn funeral carriage, which we proudly display in our facility....
