Gary Donald Motsinger, 75, passed away June 15, 2017. Memorial Services celebrating his life will be held 1:00PM Saturday June 17, 2017 at Union Cross Moravian Church. A private burial was held in Sedge Garden United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will visit with friends immediately following the service at the church on Saturday. A native of Forsyth County, Gary was the son of the late Elva Elizabeth Stafford and Pervy James Motsinger. He graduated from Glenn High School Class of ’60. He had worked for RJR for ten years. A lifelong farmer, Gary enjoyed his time outside and with his animals. In addition to his parents, he also was preceded in death by his son David Keith Motsinger, sisters Maxine Fulp, Rachel Smith, Jean Miller, and Ruth Motsinger, and brother Ray Motsinger. Survivors include his wife of 56 years Linda Vance Motsinger of the home; daughter Tammy Stanley and Barry of Kernersville; sons Don Motsinger and Gina, and Mike Motsinger and Lisa all of Winston-Salem; grandchildren Brett Motsinger of High Point, Kacie Idol of Kernersville, Shelby Motsinger of Catawba, NC, Haley Motsinger and Emily Motsinger both of Winston-Salem.
