June 11th, 1960 - October 12th, 2020
Gilbert “Tom” Marquez, 60, of Colorado Springs, CO went to be with our Lord on October 12, 2020. Born June 11, 1960 he was a veteran of the Unites States Marine Corp. Tom was a loving husband survived by his wife Theresa Marquez her mother Lucille M. Trujillo. Loving father to his daughter, Celina Marquez and Willow to 5 grandchildren; Shyla, Cruz, Sienna, Orlando and Starlee. He was a loving son and brother, proceeded in death by his Mother, Stella Marquez and brother, Kenneth Marquez. Also survived by brother, Robert Marquez. Aunts, sister in law, nieces, nephews, cousins. Tom was a selfless and caring family man, who worked as a heavy equipment operator for many years after leaving his post in the Marine Corp. He was very creative, loved to draw and write poems. He also loved to ride his motorcycle and work on old cars. Tom had such a contagious laugh, he is loved by many and will be missed.
