Henry Jay “Jay” Salas, 56, of Greeley, CO passed away on October 1, 2024, at his home, after battling cancer.  He was born in Uvalde, TX to Enrique “Henry” and Maria “Teresa” (Aguilera) Salas.

Jay owned Jay’s Auto Welding Shop. He was an avid car enthusiast. He sold and repaired many vehicles and often provided his work at a low or nothing cost.  His fishing poles were a standard tool in his truck as he loved to go fishing. He enjoyed playing pool, especially with his son, Jorion. Dancing was his thing, from R & B Old School to Tejano dancing, Music was always a part of his life, and the luck he had while gambling was unbelievable. Jay was very artistic and more than anything he was a very positive and inspirational person to all those he knew.  Spending time with family was very important to Jay, as family meant everything to him. Jay was a member of Timberline Church in Fort Collins and VNEA Billiards.
