Jack Edward Lowe

Jack E Lowe Sr., 90 of Golden, Colorado passed away surrounded by his family on January 2, 2020. Jack was born on September 23, 1929 and was the son of Richard and Jessie Lowe of Webb City, Mo, where he graduated high school. Jack is survived by his wife Helen of 70 years, daughter, Cheryl (Jim) Orstead, son, Jack Lowe, Jr., sister, Connie (Doug) Plew, grandchildren, Eric (Rhonda) Orstead, Wade (Chris) Lowe, Jason Orstead, Emily (Peter) Guadreau. Great grandchildren Wyatt and Audrey Orstead, Connor and Corben Lowe, and Nola Guadreau, and many nieces, nephews and extended family. Jack was a loving, husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. Jack had a great love for adventure and travel. He and Helen traveled to every continent during his lifetime except Australia. They lived many years in their 2nd home in Mazatlan, Mexico for ½ of the year until traveling became too difficult. He worked as a stereotyper for the first part of his career at the Joplin Globe and the Denver Post. Determined to start a business, he and Helen successfully launched Temptee Brand Steak in 1962, which is still in operation today. He and Helen were long time residents of Coal Creek Canyon for over 61 years until recently moving to Morningstar, Arvada, where Helen resides today.
