James E. Brookins, Jr, age 64, of LaBelle, passed away April 27, 2020 in Fort Myers. He was born Aug. 31, 1955 in Panama City, FL, to the late James E and Tommie (Rushing) Brookins, Sr. Mr. Brookins married Denise E. Earnest; she survives. He was a parts supervisor for A. Duda and Sons before he retired. He was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather and great grandfather who will be dearly missed by everyone who knew and loved him. James leaves behind his loving wife; Denise Brookins, mother; Tommie Brookins, daughters; Rebecca Cook and her husband Shawn, Lisa Brookins Williams and her husband Johnathan, and Linda Graham and her husband Adrian, brother; Robert Brookins and his wife; Sharon, sisters; Mary Brookins and Chris Pickles and her husband Keith; grandchildren; Brett, Jammer, Reece, and Cole, great granddaughter; Novalee and many extended family members and close friends.
