Juan Antonio Castro, of Caldwell, passed away on Wednesday , October 20, 2021 at his home of natural causes. Juan Antonio was born January 8, 1956 in Port LaVaca, Texas, to Antonio and Julia Castro. He lived in the Caldwell area for most of his life. Juan Antonio was married to Lorenza Mireles Castro for over 43 years. Juan Antonio “Tony” enjoyed camping, fishing plus spending time talking about “old memories.” You could always find him under the hood or under a car, taking pride in his work when taking apart a truck, car or anything that moved. He took the time to explain all the parts, plus how it worked. He was always there when you needed a helping hand.He worked for BSU and later retired from CWI. Juan Antonio is survived by his wife Lorenza, son, Silvestre Castro and daughter Sandra Labra. 4 grandchildren, Delilah Castro, Roxanna Castro, Azarian Castro, Elianna Castro. His sisters and brothers, Gemina Powell, Ysabel Castro, Juan Rene Castro, Eda-Ann Elizalde, John David Castro, Alicia Duran and Julia Macias. Juan Antonio was preceded in death by his parents, Antonio and Julia Castro, brother and sister, Juan Louis Castro and Olga Adams. “Tony” you were loved by many, you will be greatly missed, Until we meet again. A viewing will be held at: Flahiff Funeral Chapel [624 Cleveland Blvd, Caldwell ID] on November 10 2021 from 5pm to 8pm. Burial will be held on November 11, 2021 at 10am at Wilder Cemetery.
