Lorenzo Rosales

Lorenzo (Lencho) Rosales Jr. passed away on May 10, 2012 at the age of 60. He was born June 27, 1951 in McCamey, Texas to Lorenzo Rosales and Agustina Garcia. He later lived in Boquillas Canyon, Texas, Washington State, Florida, and Colorado. As a teenager, he worked at Boquillas Canyon, Big Bend National Park Inn. He married Maria Martinez in 1970. He worked at Monfort/Conagra packing plant for over 25 years. Lorenzo loved to sing, dance and celebrate life with family. He was loved by many. Lorenzo is survived by daughters, Rebecca Rosales and Flor Rosales; sons, Manuel Rosales, Systo Rosales, Eric Benavidaz and Eddie Benavidaz; his mother, Agustina Garcia; stepfather, Rumaldo Garcia brothers, Juan Rosales, Socorro Garcia, Jessie Garcia, and Benito Garcia; and sisters, Mary Ann Rosales, Martha Serna, Flora Moreno, and Rosalinda Garcia. Lorenzo is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Rayes Garcia. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 18, 2012 at Adamson Chapel.
