Kernersville-Marian Brown Fitzpatrick, 78, died June 6, 2013. Funeral Services celebrating her life will be held 2:00PM Saturday June 15, 2013 at Main Street United Methodist Church with Dr. Jeff Patterson, Rev. Dale Hilton, and Rev. Rick Carter officiating. Inurnment will follow in the church columbarium. A native of Lachine, Quebec, Canada, she was the daughter of the late Marian Potter Cameron and Ross McKinley Brown. She was an administrative assistant for Jim Barrett/Edward D. Jones Office until her retirement. She was married for 58 years to the late CSM Thomas Eugene Fitzpatrick. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sons Terry and Gary Fitzpatrick, granddaughter Carol Anne Stamper, sister Jean Smith, brothers Bill Brown and Cameron Brown. Survivors include sons Michael Fitzpatrick and Tamy of Pilot Mountain, Dennis Fitzpatrick and Euell of Kernersville, and Keith Wood of Walkertown; daughter in law Denise Atkins of Belews Creek; niece Debbie Cantu; grandchildren Tonya Berry, Lisa Bishop, Christina Butler, Desmond Fitzpatrick, Angela Cook, Amber Fitzpatrick, Ryan Fitzpatrick, Ross Fitzpatrick, Sean Fitzpatrick, Jessie Atkins, Katie Atkins, Taylor Wood, Camryn Wood, Isaiah Fitzpatrick, Josiah Fitzpatrick, David Stamper, and Jonathan Stamper; great-grandchildren Colby Chambers, Caitlyn Berry, Trevor Burns, Jasmine Cook, Peyton Fitzpatrick, Hannah Cook, Dominic Fitzpatrick, Leah Cook, Liam Fitzpatrick, Zachary Cook, and Isabel Bishop; sisters Eleanor T. Brown of Michigan, and Gael Traer of California; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. The family will visit with friends immediately following the service in the church fellowship hall on Saturday.
