"Palmer - Mildred S. (Lechowicz) Kapinos, 92, passed away surrounded by her family on June 28, 2016. Born December 12, 1923 in Ware, she was the daughter of Frank and Agnes (Guzik) Lechowicz. Mildred grew up in Ware and has lived in the Three Rivers section of Palmer for most of her life. She retired from Diamond National in 1994 after many years of employment and was a communicant of Divine Mercy Parish. Mildred enjoyed spending time with her family and will be deeply missed by her son, Jim and his wife Beverly Kapinos of Bondsville, wife of her late son, Raymond, Patricia Kapinos of Ludlow, a brother, Ted Lachowicz of Brookfield along with four grandchildren, Kelly Sacco and husband Kevin, Wayne Kapinos, Tiffany Martinez and husband Ed, Joshua Kapinos and great grandchildren, Makenna and Kyla Sacco, Nolan and Ethan Martinez. Mildred was predeceased by her husband Frank S. as well as her son, Raymond and siblings, Leo Lechowicz, Loretta Rodowicz, Stella Rozzen, Mary Fijol, and Irene Wallace. Visitation will be Sunday, July 3rd from 2:00-3:00 p.m. with a service to begin at 3:00 p.m. at Beers and Story Palmer Funeral Home. Burial will be private at a later date. "
