July 12th, 1930 - December 20th, 2015
Milton S. Sager, 85, of Dunedin, passed away December 20, 2015. He was born in Zagreb, Yugoslavia in 1930, was a Holocaust survivor, and fought bravely in the Israeli War of Independence. He married the love of his life, Lilly, in 1950 and moved to New York later that year. He was a serial entrepreneur. His hobbies included studying history, collecting coins and stamps, and spending time with family. Milton is survived by his wife of 65 years, Lilly; daughter, Gloria (Michael) Scharfman, their sons Jason (Rachel) and Barry; daughter-in-law Diana Sager and her daughters Monica, Talia, and Erica; and great granddaughter Zahava Scharfman. Milton was predeceased by son, Jeffrey S. Sager, M.D., late husband of Diana and father of Monica, Talia and Erica. Services will be held at 11am Tuesday, December 22nd at Congregation Beth Shalom, 1325 S. Belcher Rd., Clearwater. Interment will follow at Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in Milton's memory to Congregation Beth Shalom or Gulf Coast Jewish Family Services (Holocaust Survivor Program). David C.
