Murray Russell Burns of Caldwell, died Tuesday, October 19, 2010 at the age of 62. Murray was born November 6, 1947 in Boise, Id to Miriam Russell and Murray Wallace Burns. He attended Adams Grade School, Hillcrest Grade School, South Junior High, and graduated from Borah High School. Murray worked for Western Sales & Equipment in the 1970's from a shop mechanic to a field mechanic then a Shop Foreman to Product Support Salesman, putting in almost 20 years before leaving in 1989. He then started his own business, A-1 Industrial Services, a forklift PM service and repair, which he owned for 19 years before retiring in 2009. Murray has 4 adult children; Trevor, Lisa, Bridgett and Brian. In 2002, Murray fell in love and married Marelyn, a beautiful Christian woman. From this marriage, Murray was blessed with 3 additional boys; David age 7, James age 5, and William age 1. Murray was preceded by his father, and survived by his mother and four sisters: Diana Lyon, Judy Burns, Bonnie Camp, and Carole Carr, several grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Murray wished to let his loved ones know that "My prayer is that all my children become Christians and know and love the Lord with all their heart as much as I have. My love to you all, Dad" A funeral service will be held at Centennial Baptist Church in Caldwell on Saturday, October 23 at 10:30 AM. Interment will follow at Dry Creek Cemetery in Boise.
