Nicholas Andrew Cusson

"Hampden-Nicholas A. Cusson, 19, passed away tragically due to an auto accident June 2, 2018. Born in Springfield, August 22, 1998, he is the precious son of Gregory and Debra (Christiansen) Cusson of Hampden. Besides his parents, his love and memory will forever remain with the best big sister and "other mother", Lauren Hourihan and her husband Brian of Wilbraham, and the best big brother, mentor and best friend any one could ever ask for, Josh and his girlfriend Jolene Fernandes of Hampden. He also leaves his one year old nephew, Declan Hourihan, whom he adored. Nicholas graduated from Minnechaug Regional High School in 2016 and was an artistic free spirit who loved to draw, play video games and skateboard. He was always passionate about cars and it was such a natural fit for him to be working alongside his dad, mom and brother at the family's business, Spartan Auto Care Center for the past 5 years. Nick had a close group of lifelong friends known as the "H-town boys" and will be sadly missed by his girlfriend, Kayla Gentile and his "brother from another mother", Billy Bond. He will also be deeply missed by his paternal grandparents, Shirley and Carl Cusson of Wilbraham as well as extended family. He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, George and Fern Christiansen. Visitation will be Thursday, June 7th from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at the Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home with remembrances at 7:00 p.m. Burial will be private.
