Paul and his family moved to Whittier, CA in 1940, where he attended Whittier Public Schools and graduated from Whittier High School in 1954. He retired in 2002 from the engineering field and moved from La Habra, CA to Loveland, CO. Paul met his wife Catherine "Cathi" Agnew on the Pima Indian Reservation in Arizona on a Presbyterian missions trip in 1956. They were married September 7, 1958 in Pasadena, CA. In retirement, Paul was an active part of the community. As a member of Resurrection Fellowship Church, he served for many years as an usher and mentor to other men. He participated in Bible Study Fellowship for twelve years. He served on the board of the Homeowner's Association, as well as donating countless hours to assisting others with their resumes and professional development. He worked with the Poudre Wilderness Volunteers for several years. He was a long-time member of the Larimer County Genealogy Society. Paul had a lifelong love of music and attended community performances on a regular basis.
