Raymond Lloyd Hendrickson, 83 of Cloquet died Thursday, December 23, 2004 in Fairview University Hospital in Minneapolis. He was born January 4, 1921 in Cloquet to Herman and Alma (Helstrom) Hendrickson. He graduated from Cloquet High School in 1939. On June 29, 1947, Ray married Signe Olson in Blackhoof Township. Ray worked at Wood Conversion as an electrician. Ray was an Army veteran serving during WWII. He was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church, the Cloquet VFW, American Legion, and the DAV. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, bowling, camping, and traveling. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Clarence and Leo. Ray is survived by his wife, Signe of Duluth; son, Daryl (Doreen) of Cloquet; daughter, Sandra (James) Haley of Mahtowa; sisters, Evelyn Cameron of Duluth and Violet Keller of LaMesa, Calif.; grandchildren, Corey and Kevin (Becky)Haley, and Kelly (Michael) Cawcutt; great grandchildren, Nicholas White, Jared and Jordan Haley. Memorial services were held on Tuesday, December 28, 2004 in Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Cloquet. Military Honors were accorded by the Cloquet Combined Honor Guard. Inurnment will be Sandy Lake Cemetery in Blackhoof Township at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Northland Funeral Home in Cloquet.
