Richard John Fabrizi Sr., 74, of St. Petersburg, passed away Dec. 26, 2012. Richard was born on Aug. 13, 1938 in Rochester, NY to Angelo and Frances Fabrizi. He was the former owner of Rochester Plumbing and Heating, former president of the Rochester Italian American Civil Rights League, rewarded with the Key to the City of Corning, NY, and owner of Handyman Home Repair Service, Inc. Richard is survived by his beloved wife of 52 years, Shirley; children, Laura Fabrizi Goldberg, Sheryl Fabrizi (James Kevin) Allbritten, Richard John Fabrizi Jr. (Tina Romanello Fabrizi); brother, Joseph (Susan) Fabrizi; grandchildren, Shauna Marie Stewart, James Richard Allbritten, Westley Adam Allbritten, Alyssa Lucinda Allbritten, Rickelle Lee Fabrizi, and Michael Richard Fabrizi; great-grandson Dante' Collins; in-laws Joan Kirkpatrick Couture, Marie Barton (Dominic) Bianchi, and Leo Barton; as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, great nieces and nephews, and many friends. He was predeceased by his sister, Lucinda Febrizi Seton and in-laws, Kirk Kirkpatrick, William Barton, Charles Barton, Michael Barton, Carol Kirkpatrick McDonald, Patricia Barton Lucier and Bessie Tudisco Fabrizi. A Memorial Mass was celebrated on Friday, January 4th, 10:30 am at Saint Mary Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, 515 4th Street S., St. Petersburg. A catered reception will be held immediately following at the church. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, January 19th, 2013, 10:00 am at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 43 Gebhardt Road, Penfield. A reception is following at the Penfield Country Club, 1784 Jackson Road, Penfield. Please RSVP if you plan on attending the reception by emailing Sherrie at [email protected] David C.
