Genevieve Rose Watts, of Wilder, Idaho passed away at 89 years old on September 25, 2016. She was surrounded by loved ones from many many generations in her family tree. Genevieve was born July 30, 1927 to John and Lucy Corn in Marshall, Arkansas. She had two siblings, her brother Cecil Corn and sister Cenith Huckabee. She met the love her life Garland Watts and they married on February 8, 1947 in Cozahome Arkansas and moved to Wilder, Idaho in 1948. Their union resulted in a large family that was Genevieve’s pride and joy. She had 5 children; Fred (Terry) Watts, David (Glenda) Watts, Helen (William) Wainscott, and Kathryn Healey. To follow she had 14 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, and 8 great great grandchildren, all of which she was blessed to meet and know. She had numerous nieces and nephews that she adored and would talk about often. So much of her life was centered around and spent raising, loving, and supporting, all generations of her family. She was well-known in the community that she was a part of in Wilder; she loved going to church on Sundays, and singing old folk songs and gospel songs while doing anything and everything. Genevieve was preceded in death by her husband Garland Watts, her brother Cecil Corn, her sister Cenith Huckabee, and great grandson Brian. She is survived by all of her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren. Please join us in celebrating Genevieve’s life at 1 p.m. September 29, 2016 at the Wilder Cemetery for Graveside Services. We also would like to invite those who would like to attend, her viewing on September 28 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Flahiff Funeral Home in Homedale, Idaho. Service Information
