Ruby Schissler, 95, of Westminster, CO formerly Greeley, CO passed away October 27, 2016 in Westminster. She was born on August 21, 1921 in Brighton, CO to Fredrick and Elsie (Winters) Miller. Ruby grew up in Greeley and graduated from Greeley High School. Ruby was a homemaker and loved to bowl. She was a great seamstress and cook. Ruby was a member of St. Paul’s Congregational Church. Ruby is survived by her son, Gary (Mary Lou) Schissler; daughter, Norma Thoutt; seven grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Ruben "Rip” Schissler; and son, Dale Schissler. Services include; visitation from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, November 1, 2016 and Celebration of Life Service 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 2, 2016, both at Adamson Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to "4-H Youth Foundation” in care of Adamson Funeral & Cremation Services, 2000 47th Avenue, Greeley, CO 80634.
