Seth Edward Rodriguez
January 31st, 1982 - October 3rd, 2023
Seth Edward Rodriguez’s precious life began on a Sunday morning, January 31st at 1:55am. He weighed 8 lbs 1 ½ ounces. He was the third child born to Richard Rodriguez and Debbie Herrera. He had 2 older siblings at the time, his eldest sister Amber and brother Rick. After another year he was joined by his Brother Justus and sister Valerie. Seth enjoyed his childhood with his closest cousins Charity, Jonathan, Richard, Dana and Tony. They were always wrestling, playing football, or riding bikes. During the summer months he spent his time swimming and going to vacation bible school with his siblings. One of his longtime friends from his church childhood is Nate. Seth spent a lot of his childhood with his grandfather Bill, and his Uncle Gino. He enjoyed spending time playing sports at the Owen branch of the Boy’s and Girl’s club. He was even on the swim team and loved swimming. He eventually became a lifeguard. Seth fell in love with a beautiful girl named Amber and had their son Seth Jr, in 2000. Later in life he fell in love again with a girl named Davina and had 2 son’s, Levi and Daniel. He lovingly raised Devin (Davina’s son) as his own. He married Davina in 2012 in Jamaica, and bought his first home some time after. Seth was very proud of his accomplishments. Seth started working for Sun Country Distributing in 2009, where he continued to be employed till his passing. He loved his job and was a huge asset to the company as well as all the vendors he worked with throughout Colorado. Seth loved music, especially country music. He could be heard singing throughout his house and in the shower. He was never embarrassed to sing. Even at his job, as we were told, he would be driving everyone crazy with his vocals! Seth was also a football and baseball coach, he coached his son Levi in all sports. As his nickname became “Coach” to many. Seth was a true Colorado sports fan, on game days you could hear him cheering and yelling all the way down his mother’s block. He would wear a jersey to work to represent the teams on a weekly basis as the seasons changed. His favorite person to watch sports with was with his brother Devin. Seth loved camping, fantasy football, traveling, and an occasional concert or two. Seth mostly loved just chilling watching sports on a Sunday with his son’s and brothers by his side. He loved when his Stepmom, (Tamzilla) his nickname for her, made him his favorite green chile enchiladas. He loved when his sister Valerie would take him lunch at his job, he loved when Rick would be by his side at the hospital and at home. He loved when his sister Amber would rub his feet and D would cut his hair. He cherished the time his father would come to pray over him. His favorite holiday was definitely the 4th of July. He would have a huge bbq and light the whole block up. Seth was many things to many people. Seth one desire that was never fulfilled was to see his brother Justus's youngest son's; Caleb and Abraham, that's one wish we as a family will continue to pursue. Seth took pride in being a father figure in his nephew Jasiah's life. Seth was always at his football games, wrestling tournaments yelling "Get him Siah". Seth and Jasiah had a close bond that could never be replaced. To me, he was my precious loving son, a humble and quiet man. Knowing the one and only time he ever needed me or asked me for anything, I was there never leaving his side. . To me he was a dedicated father and worker, as well as a loving uncle who was very proud of all his nieces and nephews, he supported Rafael and Jazlyn who lived out of state, in all their endeavors. His youngest nephew Sage called him Uncle Beth and Seth’ nickname for Sage was Sagiebopper. He called Chanel his niece Sweetie. His last 3 months were spent surrounded by his loving brother Rick, sister’s Valerie and Amber, his oldest son Seth and myself, his mother. His proudest moments were with his Son’s. His favorite times were with his family. Our lives will forever be changed. He was an honorable friend to many. Seth was preceded in death by his youngest brother, Justus Jude Rodriguez (2021) His grandmother Helen Garcia (2021) His grandfather Lucas Herrera (1994) His grandparents William and Della Rodriguez . Seth passed away on October 3, 2023 at 2:17 pm Seth Loved deeply, Worked diligently, Cheered loudly, & Suffered quietly
