Shirley Allen, 73, of Parker, went Home to be with Her Lord and Savior on October 29, 2013, at home surrounded by family. Loving Wife of 52 years to Charles. Beloved Mother of Kimberly Allen and Kari Lumbrazo. Grandmother of Kara Allen and Gavin Lumbrazo. Also survived by 4 Sisters and 2 Brothers, all of Minnesota. A Memorial Service will be held Monday, November 4, 2013, 11:00 a.m. at Southeast Christian Church, 9650 Jordan Road, Parker, CO 80134. A Reception will follow at the Church. Shirley was born and raised in Verndale, Minnesota. She attended high school at Verndale High School, and after graduation moved to Phoenix, Arizona. There she worked as a bank teller and met and married Charles Allen. They moved to California and had their first daughter, Kimberly. In 1968, they moved to Denver, Colorado. Shortly after moving to Denver, they had their second daughter, Kari. Charles and Shirley decided Denver was the place for them and have enjoyed living in the Denver area ever since. They recently celebrated their 52nd anniversary and shared a lifetime of love. Service Information
