Stanley Nevin Hawkins

Stanley Nevin Hawkins, 62 of Surgoinsville, went to be with the Lord on Friday, October 14, 2016 at Holston Valley Medical Center following a brief illness. Born in Hanover, PA, he had lived in Kingsport before moving to Surgoinsville in 1997. He was employed with B&N Precision Tool and Die in Church Hill. He was preceded in death by his wife Robin Hawkins; his father, George Hawkins; his step-grandson, Patrick Green. Stanley is survived by his daughters, McKenzie Davis and husband Jacob and Rachel Hopson and husband Stuart; sons, SSGT Dustin Pugh and wife Ashley and Jacob Hawkins; step- children, Brandon Green and wife Deanna, Cindy Green; his mother, Marie Hawkins; grandchildren, Roan Arrington, Sean Hopson, Sophia Davis, Trevor Hopson, Bradyn Davis, Alena Hopson and Aaliyah Pugh; step-grandchildren, Amber and Chelsea Green and Caitlin Green; brothers, Mike Hawkins and wife Diane and Shannon Hawkins and wife Rebekah; sisters, Donna Price and husband Gene and Tammy Bull; several nieces and nephews; . The family will receive friends from 4-6 p.m. Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at Christ Fellowship Church, 260 Victory Lane, Kingsport, TN. Friends may also call anytime at the home of his mother. A funeral service will be held at 6 p.m. at the church with Tony Bleckley officiating. Music will be provided by Christ Fellowship Band. A graveside service will be conducted at 12 noon on Wednesday at East Lawn Memorial Park. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Carter-Trent Funeral Home, downtown Kingsport is serving the Hawkins family.
