Steven Randall Barnes

Steven Randall ( Randy ) Barnes passed away peacefully on January 15, 2026, after a lengthy battle with cancer. He is survived by his wife, Patricia Barnes and two step-children, Hunter Lindquist and Taylor Lindquist. He is also survived by his brother, Jeff Barnes, nephew Jared Barnes and niece, Hallie Mestas, nieces, Deanna Hicks and Stacey Hicks.  Steven was born on July 19, 1961 in Kansas City, Missouri. He was preceded in death by his father, Roy Ross Barnes, his mother, Ruth Barnes and half-sister, Linda Hicks. Steven was a partner in the law firm, Fossum, Mastro, Barnes and Stazzone and he enjoyed the practice of law immensely.  Steven loved his family, friends and had a passion for gambling and poker, including his participation in the Senior World Series of Poker in Las Vegas. Numerous friends have reached out since his death to comment on his kindness, empathy and intelligence. He will be greatly missed.
