She is predeceased by her father, John H. Russell Sr.; Maternal Grandparents, Bernard and Mabel Meyers; paternal grandmother, Emma Jean Lynn; Cousin John Russell; Uncles, Harris Russell and Percy Russell; aunt, Kitty Avery.

She is survived by her son, Legacy Day’von Russell; mother, Kimberly K. and special stepfather, Tyrone White; brother “Her bestie”, John H. Russell Jr.; Jullen James (Yessenia) Merrill, Jonathan Mercer; sister, Willlimae Sauve; aunt, Susan (Anton) Kelley, aunt Shirley Russell (her namesake) of North Carolina; Uncle, WillieDale and (Phyllis) Russell, Quentan (Timera) Young Sr.; cousins, Paula Russell, Pamela Russell, Anton Kelley, Maurice Kelley, Kenny Kelley, Jakeiff Kelley and Amare Kelley, Tiffany Blackwell, Tyreka Williams, Wanya Dalton, Tyric Bethel, Takhia Winchester, Tristan Russell-Pettiford-Russell, Aubrie Blackwell, Isaiah Blackwell, Tylaylah Williams, Tayah Williams; special friends, Chaontavia Dugger, Maiesh Shaw and Avasia Fletcher; and many more loved family and friends.
